Thoughtcrew announced as PSL Partner

An exchange of ideas at a conference in Bath last year has
led to Thoughtcrew agreeing to work with PSL to promote
and deliver collaborative support to organisations. Phil
Richardson of Thoughtcrew works in the fascinating area of
organisational development based on Biomimetics which
applies Biology to Problem Solving.
Biomimetics is the application of biology to problem solving.
Many consider this to be a fairly new discipline often
attributed to De Mestral’s invention of Velcro following a walk
in the woods where his dog became covered in burrs. By
observing the biological system where the ‘hooks’ on the
plant burr attached themselves to the ‘loops’ of dog hair he
was to create a new type of joining material that wasn’t
permanent. Phil will be speaking at our EPKN meeting on
partnering for Innovation in July.
